An effective logistics structure plays a significant role in shaping the supply chain system of every nation. Thus, as an organization poised toward the delivery of top-notch logistics services in Nigeria, General and Health Logistics International Limited (GHLI-L) has continued to set the pace in partnering with the Government, and other Non-governmental Organizations (NGOs) to complement the supply chain of health commodities with a view of improving healthcare delivery to the nation’s citizens.
In this light, GHLI-L and its team supported the Long haul Distribution (LHD) and Last Mile Distribution (LMD) of 20,551 bales of Insecticide Treated Nets (ITNs) to designated LGAs Headquarters and Delivery Points during ITN Campaign in one of the South-South states, ensuring that the right bales of nets, in the right quantity, right condition, are delivered to the right place, to the right person, at the right time, right cost and right documentation including reverse logistics.
Similarly, we provided support toward the long haul distribution and last mile distribution of 72,182 bales of Insecticide Treated Nets to assign LGA Headquarters, Delivery Points and Households in one of the South-West states thereby enhancing the fight against the scourge of malaria by ensuring that aggregated households receive and sleep under an insecticide treated net.
The photographs above show GHLI-L team demonstrating commitment of facilitating movement of nets to allotted delivery points and targeted households despite the difficult terrains in these states.
